Cadillac confirms another EV to its lineup called the Vistiq

Cadillac is announcing yet another EV that will be coming to its lineup. This time, it’s for the 2026 model year and it also carries an IQ name. Called the Vistiq, it’s the next big-ish SUV from Cadillac.

Cadillac says that the Vistiq will be the brand’s 3-row SUV that isn’t an Escalade. It slots between the Lyriq and the upcoming Escalade IQ. The company says the Vistiq is “designed for the modern family.”

“Vistiq adds another compelling EV to the Cadillac lineup, reinforcing our commitment to an electric future,” said John Roth, vice president of Global Cadillac. “Our brand now has an EV entry in most luxury segments, offering customers a range of choices, and Cadillac EVs will cover most luxury SUV segments across critical global markets in the next two years.”

Not everyone will want or be able afford an Escalade, so Cadillac needs a three-row in-between offering. We were quite fond of the Lyriq when we drove it, and overall we’ve been pleased with Ultium EVs, even if GM has been slow at ramping up production.

We also wouldn’t be surprised to see a Chevrolet and Buick equivalent at some point.

But that’s all we know. Range, pricing, more accurate availability, features, and so on will be revealed closer to launch.
