Hyundai has introduced the 2024 Santa Fe Hybrid to the North American market at the LA Auto Show, showcasing several updates already seen in global markets. This new model is distinguished by its longer wheelbase, offering standard third-row seating and enhanced interior space. The Santa Fe Hybrid is powered by a 1.6-liter direct-injected turbocharged engine coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission, providing an estimated combined output of 232 horsepower and torque of 271 lb.-ft.

The 2024 model emphasizes a connection with nature, featuring a wider liftgate opening that expands the vehicle’s use to a terrace-like function, enhancing outdoor experiences. The interior design reflects this nature-oriented theme, utilizing eco-friendly materials throughout, including for the headliner, seatbacks, and various covering materials. Notably, for the North American market, the Ecotronic Gray exterior color uses a natural bamboo charcoal-coating method.

Hyundai has made significant investments to prepare for the production of this fifth-generation Santa Fe, with the Hybrid model expected to go on sale in spring 2024.
