Genesis EVs are now available in 15 states

Hyundai’s luxury brand, Genesis, has announced an expansion of electric vehicles sales in the U.S. Those interested in getting their hands on a Genesis EV can now purchase at select retailers in 15 states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin. Currently, the Korean automaker offers the GV60, Electrified GV70, and Electrified G80 in its lineup. We recently spent time in the Electrified G80 sedan and you can see our thoughts here.

The expansion is a significant step for Genesis, as it works toward its commitment for a more sustainable future. Genesis is currently on schedule to offer an all-electric lineup by 2030. Right now, every Genesis EV comes with three years of 30-minute complimentary charging sessions through Electrify America.

If you’re in one of the newly added states — Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin — and interested in purchasing a Genesis EV, contact your local Genesis dealership or visit the automaker’s website.

“This expansion of EV sales in the United States marks a significant milestone in our journey towards an all-electric lineup by 2030,” said Claudia Marquez, chief operating officer of Genesis Motor North America. “We are pleased to now be offering our award-winning lineup of electric vehicles to a much broader audience of American customers.”
