What’s new in the 2026 Polestar 2?

Polestar has announced updates for the 2026 model year of the Polestar 2, which include enhancements in technology and features. The updated model is now available for order in Europe through the Polestar website, with plans to expand availability to additional markets later in the year.

One significant change is the introduction of a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor chip, which is designed to enhance the performance of the car’s infotainment system. This upgrade is expected to provide quicker download speeds for in-car applications, improved responsiveness in the center display, and an overall smoother user experience.

An optional upgrade for the Polestar 2 is the new Bowers & Wilkins audio system, which features 14 speakers and delivers a total output of 1,350 Watts. This system includes advanced technologies aimed at improving audio clarity and reducing distortion, thus providing a high-quality sound experience.

Additionally, a redesigned five-spoke 20-inch forged alloy wheel is now available as part of the optional Performance Pack. Inside, new upholstery options include a bio-attributed MicroTech fabric in Charcoal, featuring a distinctive quilted design.

The Polestar 2 now includes Plug & Charge technology, allowing for a simplified charging process at public charging stations. This feature can be activated through the Polestar Charge app, eliminating the need for multiple charging cards.

An optional Prime Pack has been introduced, which combines several features into one package, including the Pilot, Plus, and Climate packs, along with rear privacy glass.
