Volvo Car USA has disclosed the pricing for its 2025 model year lineup, which includes the introduction of two new fully electric SUVs: the Volvo EX90 and EX30.

Volvo continues to advance its electrification strategy, providing customers with options that include mild-hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and fully electric vehicles. The Volvo EX90, launched in November 2022, is a seven-seat luxury SUV built on a dedicated electric platform. It offers a driving range of up to 310 miles and can charge from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 30 minutes. The EX90 is designed with Scandinavian aesthetics, integrating advanced technology with a spacious interior. It will be manufactured at Volvo’s facility in South Carolina, with a starting price of $79,995.

The EX30, which gained popularity in Europe following its introduction in June 2023, is now available in the U.S. market. The EX30 Twin Motor Performance variant, which delivers 422 horsepower, starts at $44,900. This model features all-wheel drive and accelerates quickly, with a range of 253 miles and a charging capability of up to 153 kW, allowing for a charge from 10 to 80 percent in just over 25 minutes.

For the 2025 model year, the XC40 Recharge has been renamed to EX40 to align with Volvo’s electric vehicle branding. The EX40 Twin Motor variant now includes an upgraded 82 kWh battery and enhanced charging rates.

The XC90, a well-regarded hybrid SUV, has received various design and technology updates for 2025. It features a reconfigured cabin, improved sound insulation, and a contemporary user interface. The starting price for the XC90 is $58,450, and it offers an electric range of 33 miles on a single charge for the plug-in hybrid variant.

Volvo has streamlined its naming conventions for plug-in hybrids, now using the T8 designation to simplify model identification. The C40 Recharge will return to the U.S. market as the EC40 for the 2026 model year.
