Volkswagen of America, Inc. has released initial pricing for the 2025 ID.4 electric vehicle, with production resuming at the Chattanooga factory. The 82 kWh models will start at $45,095 for the rear-wheel-drive Pro and $48,995 for the all-wheel-drive Pro. Models equipped with the 62 kWh battery will be available later, and all variants are expected to receive additional features starting midyear, with further details and pricing to be announced.
The trim structure for the 82 kWh models remains similar to that of 2024. The Entry and S models are available in both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations, while the S Plus trim is exclusively for all-wheel-drive models. A destination charge of $1,425 applies to all models.
The Entry model includes features such as 19-inch alloy wheels for rear-wheel-drive and 20-inch wheels for all-wheel-drive versions, along with a gloss black grille, LED head- and taillights, and automatic headlights with rain-sensing wipers. Interior features consist of a 12.9-inch Discover Pro Max infotainment display, wireless App-Connect, and a variety of driver assistance technologies, including IQ.DRIVE.
The Pro S model starts at $50,195 for rear-wheel drive and $54,095 for all-wheel drive. It adds 20-inch wheels, illuminated VW logos, and premium LED projector headlights, along with enhanced interior features such as 30-color ambient lighting and a panoramic fixed glass roof.
The Pro S Plus, available only with all-wheel drive, has a starting price of $57,295. It includes additional exterior features like 21-inch wheels and power-folding mirrors, while the interior features heated rear seats and a premium audio system with 14 speakers, including a subwoofer. Overall, the 2025 ID.4 models present a range of options and features aimed at meeting various consumer preferences in the electric vehicle market.
