Toyota has expanded its battery electric vehicle lineup with the first 2026 bZ Woodland, a rugged midsize SUV featuring standard all-wheel drive with X-MODE and a combined output of 375 horsepower. The new model offers an estimated all-electric driving range of up to 260 miles while adding outdoor utility with 8.3 inches of ground clearance, a 3,500-pound towing capacity and available all-terrain tires.
Building on Toyota’s bZ design language, the Woodland adopts the hammerhead front end with full-width LEDs and wide black overfenders for a muscular stance. It stretches nearly six inches longer and gains just under an inch in rear height to provide more than 30 cubic feet of cargo space. Integrated roof rails, unique 18-inch aluminum wheels and optional terrain-ready tires complete its adventurous profile.

Under the hood, a 74.7 kWh lithium-ion battery powers the dual-motor AWD system and supports North American Charging System fast charging, replenishing 10 to 80 percent in about 30 minutes under ideal conditions. Plug & Charge convenience, Level 1 and Level 2 AC charging and paddle-shift regenerative braking add flexibility and control. The e-TNGA platform delivers a spacious cabin with a 14-inch touchscreen, heated SofTex-trimmed seats and a suite of Toyota Connected and safety technologies.
Scheduled to arrive early 2026 in a single trim with an available Premium package, the bZ Woodland joins Toyota’s 21 electrified models alongside the refreshed bZ small SUV and new C-HR compact crossover.
