This is the most powerful Rolls-Royce in history

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has introduced the Black Badge Spectre to the world. This model features distinctive exterior finishes and interior details, alongside enhanced opportunities for bespoke customization. The Black Badge Spectre is notable for its impressive performance, producing 1075 Nm of torque and a power output of 485 kW, or 659 hp, making it the most powerful vehicle in the brand’s history.

The creation of the Black Badge Spectre is a response to the specific demands of Rolls-Royce’s Black Badge clientele, who are characterized by their desire to challenge traditional luxury norms. These clients expect products that are not only exquisitely crafted but also embody a dynamic and bold attitude. To align with these expectations, Rolls-Royce used anonymized driving data from a group of owners to understand how the vehicle would be used in practice. This analysis indicated a preference for short bursts of maximum power, which helped dictate the engineering of the Black Badge Spectre.

The vehicle features two innovative powertrain modes. The first is the Infinity Mode, activated by a button on the steering wheel, allowing access to the full power output for a more responsive driving experience. The second is Spirited Mode, which enables a temporary increase in torque for rapid acceleration from a standstill, achieving zero-to-60 mph in 4.1 seconds.

Chassis engineering has also been refined to enhance the driving experience. Adjustments to steering weight and roll stabilization provide better feedback and reduce body roll during turns. Enhanced dampers improve body control, ensuring that the vehicle remains engaging while maintaining the signature smooth ride expected from a Rolls-Royce.

Prior to the official launch, a select group of clients received early access to the Black Badge Spectre under the condition of confidentiality. Their feedback confirmed the appeal of the vehicle’s design and performance.

The Black Badge Spectre is available in a new Vapour Violet paint finish, inspired by the aesthetics of past club cultures. Clients have the option to choose from a wide range of colors or develop bespoke hues. The vehicle features a new 23-inch wheel design and retains the signature dark finish on its brightwork, including the grille and badges.

Additionally, Rolls-Royce has introduced an Illuminated Grille backplate, available in various colors, to enhance the vehicle’s aesthetic appeal. The interior showcases a unique Illuminated Fascia with a pattern that incorporates the Infinity symbol, emphasizing the vehicle’s power and heritage.
