McLaren announces warranty and service plan for upcoming Artura supercar

When it ships, the McLaren Artura will be the company’s first series production plug-in hybrid vehicle. In addition to 19 miles of electric only driving, the hybrid turbo 6-cylinder engine will also launch the car to 60 mph in 3 seconds.

Some people buy supercars to actually drive, and McLaren is ready to support those individuals in several different ways. The car will feature a 5-year bumper-to-bumper comprehensive warranty. The hybrid battery pack is warranted for 6-years. The body itself is warranted for 10-years. Additionally, there’s 5 years of roadside assistance with every new Artura.

“The all-new McLaren Artura was designed and engineered to perform at the highest level across the board, in electric power-only, zero-emission, urban commutes to weekend breaks, favorite-road drives and track day sessions,” said Jamie Corstorphine, Product Strategy Director, McLaren Automotive. “As well as setting new standards in the supercar class for performance and efficiency, it has a world-class warranty to match, giving our customers peace-of-mind while they are enjoying their new high-performance hybrid supercar to the full.”

The perks are transferrable so even on the used marketplace buyers will potentially have some protection.

Three trim levels of the Artura exists above the standard specification. They are Performance, TechLux, and Vision. A Practicality Pack adds a front nose lift, power-folding mirrors that are heated, front and rear parking sensors, the mandatory rear view camera, Homelink, and soft close doors.
