Kia Corporation is set to host its 2025 Kia EV Day at the Tarraco Arena in Tarragona, Spain, later this month. This event follows the inaugural Kia EV Day held in Korea in 2023 and is home to the latest electric vehicle models, concepts, and technologies that contribute to Kia’s objective of leading in sustainable mobility on a global scale.
The upcoming event will highlight Kia’s position as a pioneer in the Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) sector, introducing a new approach to electric vehicle usability that emphasizes flexibility through innovative modular designs. Attendees can expect the global debut of the Kia EV4, which was previously unveiled in concept form at the first EV Day, alongside the Kia PV5, the brand’s first dedicated PBV model that was showcased at the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Also, the Concept EV2, a compact electric vehicle, will be introduced as part of Kia’s dedicated EV lineup.
Expect to see teaser images and video clips, which will provide insights into the design elements of these new models, reflecting Kia’s Opposites United design philosophy. The Kia EV4 (seen above), PV5, and Concept EV2 embody the company’s ambitious electric vehicle strategy, featuring advanced electric platform technology aimed at fulfilling the needs of customers.
During the event, Kia will elaborate on its overall PBV strategy, detailing the business model, vision, product offerings, and timeline for the PV5 launch. The company will also present its innovative PBV platform, which features a dedicated battery electric skateboard architecture designed to accommodate a variety of vehicle bodies.
Key executives from Kia’s leadership team will participate in the event, presenting the EV4, PV5, and Concept EV2, while also outlining Kia’s expanded electrification strategy that aims to reshape the global electric vehicle market.
