The Jeep brand has unveiled the Jeep Wagoneer S Trailhawk concept, showcasing its capabilities as a fully electric off-road vehicle. This concept vehicle combines Jeep’s renowned off-road performance with the latest in all-electric 4xe technology.
The Jeep Wagoneer S Trailhawk concept includes features such as Rock mode and a driver-selectable electronic rear axle locker, which are part of the enhanced Selec-Terrain system. These features allow the vehicle to handle various terrains with ease. The concept vehicle also features 31.5-inch all-terrain tires, emphasizing its off-road capabilities.
Antonio Filosa, CEO of the Jeep brand, highlighted that the Jeep Wagoneer S Trailhawk concept builds upon the flexible STLA Large platform. He stated that the vehicle showcases the capabilities of the all-electric Jeep Wagoneer S lineup, designed to perform well both on and off-road.
The debut of the Jeep Wagoneer S Trailhawk concept coincides with the introduction of the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S Launch Edition, the brand’s first global battery-electric vehicle. This new vehicle will initially launch in North America, with plans to expand to other markets worldwide, starting in the second half of 2024.
The all-electric technology of the Jeep Wagoneer S Trailhawk concept enhances performance, offering instantaneous torque and uncompromised 4xe capability. The vehicle’s design includes a lifted suspension and aggressive front and rear design elements, such as heavy-duty tow hooks and functional air extractors. The concept’s front-end features the iconic Jeep seven-slot illuminated grille with textured slots and Storm Gray metallic accents.
The exterior of the Wagoneer S Trailhawk concept includes a special-edition Bruce color, an anti-glare hood decal, and unique 18-inch multi-piece wheels. Other features include a laser-cut aluminum roof rack and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof.
Inside, the vehicle is outfitted with Mantis Green non-leather synthetic material and meteorite-inspired real stone veneer. The interior also features Storm dark metallic accents and Radical Red anodizing. The redesigned octagonal steering wheel includes tactical-inspired grip sections and a functional cross-car grab bar with exposed fasteners for mounting gear and accessories.
The front seats of the Wagoneer S Trailhawk concept combine sport and luxury, with heated and ventilated seats wrapped in Mantis Green material and Ultraviolet accent stitching. The vehicle also includes a modular cargo management system with re-configurable elastic straps for customized gear storage, and a center console with a large open storage bin and multiple USB outlets.
