Jeep Avenger 4xe: Hybrid power meets rugged capability

The Jeep Avenger 4xe is poised to make an impact in the B-SUV market with its distinctive design and advanced performance features, reflecting Jeep’s long-standing reputation for all-wheel drive vehicles. Prior to its official launch, the Avenger 4xe was showcased during a European Media Drive event in Florence, allowing journalists to experience its design, technology, and performance firsthand.

Fabio Catone, Head of the Jeep Brand in Enlarged Europe, noted the vehicle’s success, stating, “Thanks to over 160,000 customer orders since its launch, the Jeep Avenger is a proven success.” He emphasized that the 4xe variant enhances Jeep’s offerings in the B-SUV segment by integrating hybrid technology with the brand’s renowned off-road capabilities.

The Avenger 4xe features a robust exterior designed for durability, including reinforced bumpers, specialized fog lights, roof rails, and all-season tires. Interior elements prioritize comfort and practicality, with durable materials and premium finishes throughout the cabin.

In terms of capability, the Avenger 4xe offers improved off-road performance, with increased ground clearance and enhanced water fording capabilities. Its all-wheel-drive system provides traction across various terrains, making it suitable for both urban and rugged environments. The vehicle’s intelligent drive modes allow for optimized performance based on driving conditions.

The powertrain combines a 48V hybrid system with a 1.2-liter turbo engine, producing a total output of 145 hp. This setup allows for efficient driving, including full electric mode at lower speeds. The Avenger 4xe also features a range of connected services, enhancing the driving experience through real-time updates and vehicle monitoring via a dedicated app.

Three trim levels are available: Upland, The North Face Edition, and Overland, each offering distinctive features and technologies. The North Face Edition, produced in a limited run, includes a welcome kit for buyers, emphasizing the collaboration between Jeep and The North Face. Deliveries of the Avenger 4xe are expected to commence in May 2025.
