Hyundai teases high-performance Ioniq 6 N ahead of Goodwood debut

Hyundai Motor Company has released the first teaser images of its upcoming Ioniq 6 N, the high-performance electric sedan set to follow in the tyre tracks of the award-winning Ioniq 5 N. The new images showcase a sleek four-door silhouette with flared fenders, a wider track, lightweight wheels and a prominent rear wing, all engineered for maximum aerodynamic efficiency and high-speed stability.

Developed under N’s core performance pillars — “Corner Rascal,” “Racetrack Capability” and “Everyday Sports Car” — the Ioniq 6 N combines motorsport-inspired design with advanced EV technology. Intensive wind-tunnel testing has shaped its pronounced wheel arches and sculpted bodywork, while a low-drag profile promises improved range and sharper handling.

“Ioniq 6 N will once again disrupt the high-performance EV segment and deliver exciting driving experiences to our fans,” said Joon Park, vice president and head of the N Management Group. The model’s global debut is planned for this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, where enthusiasts will see it climb the hill alongside other performance icons.

The teaser images hint at a production car that balances everyday usability with track-ready credentials. Hyundai has confirmed that the Ioniq 6 N will leverage the brand’s latest electric powertrain innovations, building on the Ioniq 5 N’s motorsport victories and record-setting achievements. More technical details and performance figures are expected in the weeks leading up to its Goodwood appearance.
