A prototype of the Honda 0 SUV was unveiled at the Red Bull Showrun x Powered by Honda event in Tokyo, Japan, featuring Formula 1 driver Max Verstappen behind the wheel. This all-electric SUV, part of the Honda 0 Series, was first introduced at the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show and is anticipated to enter production at the Honda EV Hub in Ohio in 2026.
The event also included participation from F1 drivers Yuki Tsunoda, Liam Lawson, and Isack Hadjar, coinciding with the Japanese Grand Prix at the Suzuka Circuit. This demonstration marked a celebration of the collaboration between Honda and Red Bull Racing, which has resulted in over 63 F1 victories and multiple championships, including four consecutive Drivers’ World Championships for Verstappen and two Constructors’ Championships.

The Honda 0 SUV was showcased in a unique wrap design, reflecting Honda’s new EV development philosophy of “Thin, Light, and Wise.” Alongside the SUV, Red Bull Racing’s F1 vehicles were displayed, including the RB16B and the historic V12-powered Honda RA272, which was the first Japanese car to win a Formula 1 Grand Prix.
This prototype is set to be the inaugural model of the Honda 0 Series, utilizing a dedicated EV architecture. It aims to provide a spacious interior and advanced technologies, enhancing user experience through the ASIMO OS. Production is expected to commence in Ohio, with plans to introduce the model to North America in 2026, followed by other global markets, including Japan and Europe.
