GMC has unveiled the 2026 Sierra EV, offering a comprehensive lineup of trims, capabilities, and battery configurations aimed at providing customers with a variety of choices for electric pickup options. The new lineup includes the premium Elevation and rugged AT4 trims alongside the established Denali, with a starting price of $64,495, which includes a destination freight charge.
The Sierra EV features an extensive selection of battery options, categorized as Standard, Extended, and Max Range. The Elevation trim will offer both Standard and Extended Range batteries, while the AT4 will come with Extended and Max Range options. The Denali trim will provide all three battery configurations, with specific range estimates to be disclosed closer to the vehicle’s launch.
Jaclyn McQuaid, global vice president of Buick GMC, stated, “With these additional trims and customer options, the Sierra EV is positioned right in the heart of the premium truck market.” The introduction of these trims aims to cater to the preferences of Sierra customers, who favor the Elevation, AT4, and Denali models, which collectively represent a significant portion of Sierra light-duty sales.
The 2026 Sierra EV AT4 is designed to deliver off-road capability, featuring a lifted coil suspension, 35-inch all-terrain tires, and a Terrain Mode that enhances maneuverability and control. Notable features include a 4-Wheel Steer system and Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance technology.
The Elevation trim is equipped with a 16.8-inch diagonal center touchscreen and offers several convenience features, while the Denali trim provides luxury elements such as heated and ventilated seats and a choice of battery options.
The Sierra EV will be available in various colors, including Summit White and several new metallic options. The expected arrival at dealerships is set for this summer, with pricing for the trims reflecting the various battery configurations and features. The Elevation will start at $64,495, the Denali at $71,795, and the AT4 at $81,395, including destination.
