Genesis has established a collaboration with Bloomberg Media to introduce a new in-car application, offering a range of services to vehicle owners. This application, powered by Bloomberg, will initially be made available in the Electrified G80 model in Korea, starting from September 25, 2024.
The rollout of this service will extend to several other Genesis models, including the G90, G80, GV80, GV80 Coupe, GV70, Electrified GV70, and GV60. It is scheduled for full availability in Korea by the first quarter of 2025. The service will also be introduced to European markets by the second quarter of 2025. Existing Genesis owners will receive this application through an Over-the-Air (OTA) software update.
This partnership is designed to offer Genesis owners easy access to Bloomberg’s media content. The application provides features such as Bloomberg TV+, Bloomberg Originals, and a curated News Feed, all accessible without requiring additional sign-ins. The goal is to provide a straightforward means for users to stay informed while using their vehicles.
Additionally, Genesis will offer an Annual Access subscription to certain model owners, beginning with the newly designed Electrified G80. This subscription, which includes a Bloomberg digital package, will be gradually extended to the G80, G90, GV80, and GV80 Coupe models. Subscribers will gain access to Bloomberg.com and the Bloomberg app on all their devices.
The inclusion of this service aims to enhance the overall experience for Genesis customers by integrating Bloomberg’s media content both in their cars and through external devices.
