Audi has revealed the U.S. offer structure and technical specifications for the A6 and S6 Sportback e-tron models, which are expected to reach dealerships in the summer of 2025. These new electric vehicles are noted for their aerodynamic design and long-range capabilities, with the A6 Sportback e-tron boasting an EPA-estimated range of 392 miles on a single charge when equipped with the ultra package.
The A6 Sportback e-tron is built on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE), which also underpins the Q6 e-tron SUV. The vehicle features a rear-wheel drive system, and its battery pack can be charged at DC fast charge speeds of up to 270 kW. This allows for a 10-80% charge in approximately 21 minutes under optimal conditions. The model is designed to maximize storage space, offering up to 39.9 cubic feet of interior capacity with its foldable rear seats.

The interior includes a driver-oriented cockpit with an 11.9-inch virtual cockpit and a 14.5-inch center MMI screen, both utilizing OLED technology for enhanced visuals. The MMI system provides access to various user-friendly technologies, including an optional 10.9-inch passenger display. This display allows front-seat passengers to engage with entertainment content without distracting the driver.
The A6 Sportback e-tron family consists of three models, each with varying power outputs: the single motor rear-wheel drive A6 Sportback e-tron, the dual motor A6 Sportback e-tron quattro, and the S6 Sportback e-tron. The latter combines performance and luxury, with the S6 producing 543 horsepower and capable of accelerating from zero to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds.

The exterior design emphasizes aerodynamic efficiency, achieving a drag coefficient of 0.23. The vehicle features a distinctive front with integrated headlights and a streamlined silhouette. The rear includes a light strip and a spoiler that enhance its sporty appearance.
Audi has also integrated advanced lighting technology into the A6 Sportback e-tron, including LED headlights and customizable digital light signatures. The vehicles are equipped with a panoramic glass sunroof that can switch between transparent and opaque settings.

In terms of infotainment, the A6 Sportback e-tron includes the latest Audi connect services and an enhanced e-tron route planner. The infotainment system operates on Android Automotive OS and offers various subscription services for navigation and connectivity.
The A6 Sportback e-tron is part of Audi’s broader strategy to transition to electric mobility, with over 20 new or redesigned models expected to be introduced in the coming years. The pricing for the A6 Sportback e-tron starts at $65,900, excluding destination and delivery charges.
